Bill & Delphine Patchett receive Dr. of Philanthropy Honour

NORTHUMBERLAND COUNTY – Bill and Delphine Patchett were presented with Dr. of Philanthropy honours during the Annual General Meeting of the Northumberland Hills Hospital (NHH) Foundation held in late June.

Established in 2015, the Dr. of Philanthropy award recognizes those who have made a substantial commitment to improving the health of our community.

“Bill and Delphine are worthy recipients of this high honour,” states NHH Foundation Chair Louise Stevenson. “They made their first donation to the Foundation in 1993 and they’ve been stalwarts with their time and financial support ever since.”

Bill continues to volunteer in support of the hospital. Recently he’s been undergoing cancer treatments in the morning yet by the afternoon; he’s out on the road raising funds for equipment. And he’s quite successful with his efforts as we all know.

Local family physician, Dr. Ari Haukioja, participated in the presentation and officially gowned the Patchett’s with personalized lab coats.
